![]() | Paul LoewenI am Paul Loewen, Arvid and Ruth’s son. I am a first year student at Providence College, in the aviation program. I will be the driver of the follow vehicle for the second leg, from Winnipeg to Toronto. I’ve been involved in the support crew in California, Iowa, and Northern Canada. Last Spring, I had the privilege (and pain) of teaming up with my friends to take my dad on head to head in a 24 hour time trial. After following him in a car for hours and hours, getting to race against him was a whole new experience. Seeing the dedication from both behind, and beside him, is an incredible experience. When we in the support crew can barely get up to make ourselves food, his legs still push. When we, racing against him, complained that we had to get on the bike again, he came riding by with a smile on his face. |
God has given him the unique ability to persevere beyond normal. When he combines that dedication with a charitable cause like Mully Children’s Family, it’s incredible for me to watch. Just watching him talk about his dreams and goals is encouraging, because it’s clear to all that that they’ve been placed there by God and he has an extreme passion for them. I’m excited and anxious to see how God will work through this, and the amazing good that will come from it. |
