Hello and welcome to the media area of Spoke2005. My name is Paul Boge and as the media coordinator for Spoke2005 it is my pleasure to introduce you to a unique and exciting cross-Canada project featuring some dynamic individuals. |

Among them is Canadian Arvid Loewen who will be cycling across Canada in a special tandem bike to raise support for an orphanage in Africa. Arvid can tell you what it takes to travel 240 km per day...all with a child on the back of his bike! We also have three former street children who were rescued from the slums of Kenya and now live in an orphanage run by Charles Mulli - a rags to riches man who subsequently gave everything away to help over 700 children escape poverty. These children can tell you what it was like to be on the streets and what it will mean for others to be rescued. And we are fortunate to have Mulli's daughter Ndondo with us who can tell you what it was like to go from the lap of luxury, to giving everything away to help street children. I'll be making the trip across Canada with them. We'll be stopping in cities throughout this great country and so I invite you to contact me to set up an interview with any member of our team.
