![]() | Francis' mother was single with three children all fathered by different men. She brewed illicit alcohol and practiced prostitution in order to survive. Due to the nature of her work, she would leave the children hungry and unattended for days. She was often intoxicated and abused the children. Before Francis was rescued by Mully Children's Family (MCF), he lived with his mother in Bunyala village. Because of the uncaring nature of the mother, Francis lived a life of neglect and poverty, often without anything to eat or drink. This condition made him desperate and in dire need of parental care and basic needs. Due to the family condition, poverty and lack of attention, Francis never attended school. He was chased out of nursery school due to lack of school fees. Francis was rescued by MCF in 1998 and received protection and care. He is currently in grade five at MCF Ndalani Primary School. Francis enjoys playing children's games and reciting poems and memory verses. He is also an active choir member. |
