Moses is of Muslim background. He was abandoned by his mother who divorced his father when he was about three years old. He was oppressed and molested by his stepmother. She forced him into the illegal brewing and selling of alcohol. He escaped to the streets where he become a drug addict, thief, engaged in sexual immorality, and drug trafficking.

Moses says that he experienced abuse and humiliation from the people on the streets, as well as imprisonment due to the crime of being a street child. Moses remembers one time in the streets when he had severe stomach ulcers and food poisoning. He lay on the street crying for help but no one came to his aid. He was certain that he would die. He learnt to survive and live with the pain caused by ulcers. Moses remembers meeting Mr. Mulli during his outreach to the street children of Eldoret. At first he was scared thinking that Mr. Mulli was a policeman wanting to arrest him. Mulli joined Moses and other street children in their filthy surroundings where they burnt old wasted tires, and ate left over foods from the rubbish bins. This man was willing to sacrifice his time and sit with dirty, neglected street children until late at night, encouraging them to stop taking drugs and telling them that God loved them.

"Daddy Mulli invited me to live with him in his house and promised to educate me and care for me like I was his own child. Then I knew this was a man of God sent to rescue me from my despair. Now I have found a new loving father and mother in Charles & Esther Mulli. Through my new parents I have learnt the power of forgiveness and have been able to forgive my biological parents for what they did to me."

Moses has shown steady improvement with impressive performance. He sat his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exam in 2000 with a sterling performance. He is active in soccer and was voted the best goalkeeper in the Yatta sub district.

Moses has now joined the Scott Theological College where he is pursuing a degree in Theology. He served as the MCF school Deputy Captain for two years. He is a choir leader and self trained guitarist and currently is assisting in the spiritual development programs of the home.
