Geoffrey was a neglected child in a family of five. His father was a drug addict who paid very little attention to his children. George cannot remember receiving anything from his father. His mother was involved in an accident that incapacitated her in many ways.

Geoffrey had to work in order to purchase food. He used to go to the nearby posho mills to collect the leftover flour from the floor. As he grew older, he resorted to stealing to get food. Many times he was caught and beaten.

He moved to the streets in Eldoret where things only got worse. Death became eminent as the public and the police could not tolerate his behaviour of stealing. He lacked basic health care and did not bother with cleanliness. The important thing was to get something to fill his stomach. His only friends were his fellow street urchins.

Nonetheless, by the grace of God, Mr. Mulli spotted him on the street, and offered fatherly love that he had never experienced. Ever since he was rescued, he has benefited greatly from Mully Children's Family. He has experienced a change of character and spiritual development in a friendly environment.

Prior to his rescue, he had not started going to school. He was enrolled in nursery after undergoing special education to integrate him with the others. He has progressed well although with a bit of difficulties as a result of his poor background. He sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in November 2004. He hopes he will do better as he proceeds to secondary school. He hopes to pursue a course leading to a career in engineering.
